In waters with lots of boat traffic, a back lead is essential. This will keep your line pinned to the bottom.
A back lead will not only prevent boats or swimmers accidentally picking up your line but it will also prevent carp from detecting it.
The back lead has a large ‘S’ attached to it which is made of the same material as the guides on most rods. This makes the weight slide easily on your line while keeping it out of the way when you get a bite.
The back leads from NGT all have an unobtrusive green colour coating with black dots. This makes the back leads blend in perfectly on the bottom.
