The Shakespeare SALT XT Boat rods set a new standard for boat rods in their price range! Due to the high quality carbon, the SALT XT Boat has a very slim thin blank, but at the same time there is more than enough power in this rod! The sensitive top section builds down to a stronger backbone, to ensure that there is enough power to set the hook. Furthermore, the rods are equipped with a long EVA handle with a high density. The handle is easy to clean and can be held with 2 hands when fighting a big fish. The Shakespeare SALT XT Boat is equipped with a rubber gimbal and an X-wrap shrink handle on the back to maximize comfort. In addition, the special K-type guide eyes prevent the line from getting tangled around the guides, eliminating knots and breaks!
