The TX 4 series was developed with one thing in mind: casting the greatest distances. While testing the blanks, something quickly became clear. Developing a rod for fantastic casts is one thing, developing a rod that both casts far and is also a pure pleasure to land a fish with is another. We believe Shimano has achieved this thanks to the combination of an HPC100 and Biofibre blank that ensures it recovers quickly in the middle and top sections. The grip is comfortable and stylish and the guide eyes are very reliable with the Seaguide Stainless Steel SiC eyes. In short, the TX4 rods are aimed at distance fishing, made to reach the tough spots up to 198 meters!
