The 6 sealed stainless steel ball bearings in combination with the direct acting anti-reverse ball bearings make the Affinity III run extremely smoothly. The extra slow oscillation system, in combination with the Long Stroke spool, guarantees a perfectly spooled line, both with nylon and braided lines, resulting in extreme casting distances. The reel is also saltwater resistant.
