Korda Square Pear Swivel (2 pieces)

Korda designed the Square Pear Swivel after carefully studying underwater footage. Without a doubt, inline leads hook on a hard surface many times better than a normal swivel lead. This is because when the carp lifts the lead it always does so on the heaviest side. In the case of the Korda Inlines, bite registration is also greatly improved because the swivel is semi-fixed to the lead.

After seeing the underwater footage, Korda was only concerned with designing a lead where the carp only have to swim away for a moment before feeling the full weight of the lead. Now a sphere is the best shape for this. Only this shape has disadvantages: it can roll and the underline can get tangled as a result. So it had to be something else.

This resulted in the Square Pear Swivel. A slightly conical shaped lead, with 4 flat sides. As an inline lead, the fish will have no way of lifting this lead without getting the full weight. Even with a swivel, the carp will immediately face the full weight of the lead. The length of the swivel is minimal and the shape of both sides of the lead is actually the same. The advantage of the swivel lead is that it can be thrown farther than the inline lead.
