The PENN Regiment III Jig rods are made of 30T carbon combined with the SLS3 blank construction that ensures the blanks have a nice thin diameter while being incredibly strong. Both models are specially made for the multiplier or low profile reel; because of the palming reel holder this is very comfortable. The relatively short length of these rods ensures that you have a small leverage and therefore you can exert maximum force on, for example, a very large halibut. In addition, the front handle is made of very sturdy EVA in a triangular shape which makes holding very comfortable. Both rods are finished with the best saltwater-resistant SeaGuide guide eyes and are very strong. These are the perfect rods to really put power on big fish.
