The PENN Regiment III Solid Carbon rods are unique boat rods with blanks made of full carbon with special Spiral Armour Technology. Practically indestructible yet extremely slim and delicate, this 100% solid carbon cross wrap structure is made of several layers of 46T and 30T carbon with a full 24T carbon core. Finished with saltwater-resistant stainless steel guides and tapered ergonomic, easy-to-clean high-density EVA handles, these rods are truly unique and perfect for mixed-species fishing. The heavier versions are even capable of retrieving huge blue sharks and halibut!
