The SGS6 is a new high quality sea fishing reel from Savage Gear. The SGS6 has been designed to cope with the harshest conditions at sea. This reel features a unique SW-500 saltwater resistant coating, this coating has easily withstood 500 hours of saltwater testing. In addition, the 6+1 steel ball bearings and carbon drag system are extra tightly sealed to ensure that the entire reel is highly resistant to saltwater. The body of the reel is made of lightweight, strong aluminium and reinforced with carbon in some places. The reel also features the latest technological developments, including Savage Gear’s patented Dura Grease, which protects against corrosion and abrasion.
