Shimano Poison Glorious Casting

This third-generation Poison Glorious takes high-performance rod technology to a new level. Thanks to the advanced Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X carbon construction, blank torsion is drastically reduced. This results in unprecedented casting accuracy, direct response and maximum control – both when fishing with heavy lures and during refined finesse presentations.

The Ultimate Blanks Design (UBD) ensures smooth transitions in the blank, keeping action, precision and control perfectly balanced. The combination of a Full Carbon Monocoque body and Carbon Monocoque Grip transmits vibrations directly to the hand, providing extreme sensitivity and optimal bite detection – essential for bottom contact and subtle bites in deep water.

The use of high-density MuscleCarbon increases power without adding extra weight, keeping long fishing sessions comfortable while providing enough backbone to play large fish with control. The Poison Glorious is not a standard rod, but an extension of the serious sport angler – built for total control, ultimate sensitivity and top performance in the most competitive conditions.
