Shimano Aerlex H Surf Tubular Beachcaster Rod

The Shimano Aerlex H Surf Tubular is a beachcaster rod designed for maximum casting distance and control under heavier conditions. This version is ideal when distance is more important than subtle bite detection, such as in rougher weather, strong currents, or when fishing with heavier rigs. The full carbon tubular top provides a stiffer, more direct action than a hybrid top. This allows the rod to build more tension during the cast, resulting in tighter and longer casts. The fast action and 3-piece construction make the rod powerful, stable, and reliable with casting weights up to 225 grams. The full carbon blank with Diaflash reinforcement keeps the rod controlled during both casting and fighting. Equipped with Fuji Low Rider Concept “O” guides for stable line flow with braided line. The Cast Control Grip supports a consistent casting technique and extra grip during powerful casts.

Differences between versions:

The versions differ in reel seat. The DPS reel seat fixes the reel in a fixed position. The Plate reel seat allows the reel position to be adjusted according to personal preference and casting technique.
