The Korda Basix Wide Gape Barbless is available in several variants. The Basix Wide Gape barbless hook has been designed to be a perfect all-round hook that can be used straight from the pack. It is versatile and is ideal for use when fishing with bottom baits, pop-ups or wafters. Thanks to its aggressive, inward-curving eye, the hook will turn quickly and grip the jaw without the use of kickers or shrink tubing. By using the well-known “X” wire gauge, the hook is suitable for fishing in the roughest conditions. The BASIX Wide Gape is finished with a discreet nickel finish and hook point that is designed to last. This makes it possible to catch more fish on the same hook before it needs replacing. However, it is important to check that the hook is still sharp before casting and to replace it when it is no longer sharp.
