Given the trend for heavier leads, heavy use of Scopes for dropping your bait from the boat and fishing extreme locations, the new Scope Abbreviated models are now available in 3lb, and the new 3.25lb and a 3.5lb (Stepped Up Special). These rods offer a more powerful back end to provide more control during the fighting with a monster carp, in the current or when fishing near obstacles and aquatic plants. They can handle leads up to 170g and are the ideal compact rods for all types of fishing.
The 4.5lb models are the first choice for anglers who like short rods in the most difficult situations. Extreme distance boat fishing combined with heavy leads, heavy obstacles and fast flowing water.
