The Naked Chod/Helicopter System Tapered Bead from PB Products is a bead that sits fairly tight on the leader because of its tapered passage. With this bead between the leader and the hooklink you can adjust the distance between the hooklink and the lead. On soft bottoms or with lots of weed growth the leader can be positioned far from the lead. In this way the bait is not embedded in the soft soil or deep in the weeds. The bead can be placed on the leader with a splicing needle or boilie needle. The material of the bead is flexible so that the passage remains intact.
