The Shimano Spheros SW is a saltwater resistant reel that is constructed with heavy duty parts. This extremely strong reel can be used perfectly for bass fishing, but it is also suitable for heavy duty freshwater fishing.
The cold forged aluminium crank is combined with a Hybrid (X-Shield) body and an XGT-7 (X-Protect) rotor. This combination easily withstands enormous forces and the special X-Shield treatment ensures optimal and durable protection. The black body and silver spool give the reel a sturdy and clean look.
