This is far and away the best wire trace material for pike fly fishing I have ever used. Really supple to give a fluid action to your artificial, it's more like armoured braid than traditional wire. J

As knottable as 49 strand wires can be, they always have a cheesewire action on the mono, Authanic wire doesn't. 2 turn waterknot to 30lb fluro leader & rapala knot to fly, secure as you can get. Easy
