The Westin Drop Shot Rig Kit is a ready-to-use dropshot setup for targeted fishing of predators in freshwater. The rigs are fully pre-tied and consist of a fluorocarbon leader, dropshot weight, swivels, and a fixed hook size, allowing them to be used straight out of the package. The dropshot setup enables controlled presentation of the bait above the bottom, which is particularly effective for slow and precise fishing. The 10-gram variant is suitable for shallower water and calm conditions, while the 14-gram version provides extra bottom contact in deeper water, wind, or light currents. The rigs are suitable for use from the shore and from a boat and are supplied on a reusable EVA spool for organized storage and quick changes at the water’s edge.
