Compact, strong and versatile. These are the main characteristics of the Shimano SLX baitcasting reel. The SLX DC is the Best Freshwater Reel winner at ICAST in 2019. The reels feature a Shimano HAGANE body which is ultra strong and super lightweight. The reel also features SFS (Super Free Spool) which was designed to eliminate spool friction when making a cast. These baitcasting reels are ideal for competitive applications.
