Shimano Bassterra XT Shore Jigging Sea Fishing Rod

The Shimano Bassterra XT Shore Jigging is a powerful sea fishing rod specifically developed for jigging from the shore. This rod is designed to achieve long casting distances, which is essential when jigging from the shore at sea, yet remains sensitive enough to control the lure effectively. The High Modulus Full Carbon blank is reinforced with Shimano Diaflash technology, providing extra torsional stiffness and control during casting and fighting. The moderate action makes the rod versatile: suitable for horizontally fished metal jigs, as well as casting shads, plugs, and surface lures. The sensitive tip section brings the lure to life, while the powerful butt section provides enough backbone for fighting strong saltwater predators. The rod is finished with Fuji stainless steel Fazlite K-type guides that reduce wind knots and ensure smooth line flow. The Fuji reel seat and EVA split-grip handle provide comfort and grip during long fishing sessions from the beach, pier, or rocky coast.
