The Shimano Currentsniper BB Shore Jigging Spinning Rod is developed for targeted fishing with metal jigs from the shore, where maximum casting distance and control are important. This rod is specifically tuned for shore jigging but can also be used for fishing with hardbaits when targeting fish at great distances. The High Modulus carbon blank is reinforced with Shimano Hi-Power X technology, which increases torsional rigidity and ensures longer and more stable casts. The moderate fast action offers a good balance between power and sensitivity, allowing metal jigs to be fished with control and providing enough backbone during the fight. The rod is finished with Fuji K-Type Stainless Steel Alconite guides for smooth line guidance and reduced line wear. The Fuji DPS reel seat with a double lock system keeps the reel securely in place, while the EVA handle provides comfort and grip, even in wet conditions. The Currentsniper BB is suitable for dedicated saltwater anglers who fish from the shore with metal jigs.
