When jigging, you cast a small shad on a jighead, which you then float to the bottom. Then you retrieve it with a few twitches each time. The moment of sinking/floating is often the trigger for perch and zander to strike. The Ultimate Chikara Jig is a perfect rod for jigging. The 30T carbon blank has a very fast action and allows for easy and highly focused casting and jigging lures. Thanks to the strong backbone this rod reacts very directly, guaranteeing perfect shad and jighead control and excellent hook setting. The rod is finished with high quality stainless steel guides and a double fiber carbon fiber handle.
