Korda’s Naked Chod Safety System is the only system where the top bead can fall freely off the line. This allows the rig to slide unhindered over the main line, allowing the fish to be retrieved in complete safety. Also, in the event of a line breakage, the fish is released from the lead and line without difficulty!
How to use:
1. Slide the lower barrel-shaped sleeve onto the main line, followed by the conical shaped sleeve with the wide end pointing towards the rod tip.
2. Slide the rig with Ring Swivel size 11 with the ring on the line, or use a Korda Ready Tied Chod rig. After this you can attach the No Trace Bead to the conical shaped sleeve.
3. Attach a Heli Sleeve in combination with Kwik Link (not included) to the end of the line. Then attach the desired type of lead and the system is ready to use.
The system works optimally as follows: Place the Sleeve and the No Trace Bead at about 30-35cm from the lead. Place the lower barrel-shaped sleeve about 20-25cm from the lead to keep the rig free of the lead and able to rotate freely on the leader. Leave a space of about 10cm between the two sleeves as a starting point. For best results we recommend fishing with slack sinking main line.
