The Westin W3 Vertical Jig is designed for vertical fishing. With its two parts and a total length of 185cm, this rod is compact and easy to carry. In short, a great rod for on board or on bridges and jetties. The blank is made from Japanese Toray Carbon and reinforced with 3K Kevlar. This gives the rod the right sensitivity for jigging and registering every bite without affecting the action for striking and casting.
This is a W3 Vertical Jig which is equipped with an SKS reel seat. It is therefore suitable for casting reels. Westin has equipped these rods with LTS guides and an EVA handle with a nice rubber end stop.
