Vertical catfish fishing is becoming increasingly popular among catfish anglers. This is because it is an extremely effective way to fish large, deep waters during the cold winter months, usually from a bellyboat. For this purpose, Madcat has developed a special rod that has just the right length, weight, action and sensitivity to make it perfect for vertical fishing. As you would expect, it is built using high quality components, such as an original Fuji trigger reel holder and much more!
