Quick release bow plates are a popular option for easily attaching or removing the bow motor to the boat. Unfortunately, these quick release mounting brackets also make it easy for a thief to tamper with the bow motor. DuraSafe offers multiple locks for Minn Kota bow plates. All locks are made of stainless steel and other materials that can withstand harsh marine environments.
By mounting this DuraSafe lock on the side of the bow plate, you prevent the locking lever from being pulled out. As a result, your bow motor is secured! Unlike a padlock, this E-LOCK® lock does not rattle, rub or scratch the deck.
