The Westin Carolina Perch Rig Kit is a ready-made version of the popular Carolina rig, specifically designed for targeting perch. The rigs are fully pre-tied and consist of fluorocarbon leaders, bullet weights, offset hooks, and matching CreCraw softbaits. This makes the set immediately usable without the need for tying yourself. The Carolina setup ensures that the bait moves freely and naturally over the bottom, while the weight remains separate from the bait. This makes the rig suitable for covering larger areas and fishing over hard bottoms or light vegetation. The combination of two line strengths offers a good balance between sensitivity and abrasion resistance. The rigs are supplied on a reusable EVA spool and are suitable for use from the shore and from the boat.
