Designed to be extremely simple and compact. The Rod Safe U is sturdy, durable and perfect for almost any type of fishing. There is a deep opening for line at the bottom of the holder, so you can turn line in or release it when the rod is on the support; important to keep your line properly tensioned. The height of the sides is calculated so that the rod holder provides maximum security, while still allowing the rod to be quickly picked up when a bite occurs.
