The Guard Spin Jig is a rubber jig designed for finesse fishing especially for perch. The guard ensures that this bait can be fished perfectly between the plants. In the USA this technique is used very successfully in bass fishing. The hook, which is mounted on a tungsten head, can be fitted with a shad or double twister just like a normal jighead. This works perfectly, but even without this addition the Guard Spin Jig is a catcher.
The Guard Spin Jig consists of a very compact drop-shaped tungsten jig head and an extra fine SR40 silicone skirt. The anti-weed system consists of 5 fibers carefully glued by hand. The Guard Spin Jig also features anti-shatter paint. This is the lure to catch with when nothing else works or when you want to fish in the middle of the plants!
